North Carolina High School Softball - Bartlett Yancey succumbs to Southeast Alamance

March 14, 2025: Yanceyville, NC 27379

In Friday's league test, the Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC), by a tally of 17-0.

Next, the Stallions play the Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A challenge, on Tuesday, March 18. Southeast Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 13-3 league win over North Moore (Robbins, NC).

The Buccaneers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Jets enter the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Jordan-Matthews was routed by Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 10-1, in a non-league challenge.
