Mississippi High School Softball - St. Benedict at Auburndale bounces Bay

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles (Cordova, TN) and the host Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS), observed St. Benedict at Auburndale's softball team prevail over Bay by a tally of 12-3.
The Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, Pass Christian was routed by Greene County (Leakesville, MS), 4-3, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Petal Panthers (Petal, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 15. Bay will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 5-4 non-league win over North Pike (Summit, MS).
