With the triumph, St. John's improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Cadets host Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD) to clash with the Mustangs in a Washington Catholic bout on Monday, March 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Bishop McNamara lost 12-1 in their recent league bout against St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD)

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a Washington Catholic bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Bishop Ireton will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 12-1 league win over Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD).
