Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Evadale Rebels (Evadale, TX), 11-3 in a league game.

The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 4-10. Big Sandy lost 17-10 in their recent non-league game against West Hardin (Saratoga, TX)

The Rebels now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Sabine Pass for a 2A Region III District 24 game on Tuesday, March 18. Evadale will play a Sharks squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Deweyville (Deweyville, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 0-5.
