The West Memphis Blue Devils softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Forrest City Mustangs to 2 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Friday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley View for a 5A East battle on Tuesday, March 18. West Memphis will confront a Blazers team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Riverside (Lake City, AR). The Blazers record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Forrest City moves to 0-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Blytheville (Blytheville, AR) to confront the Chickasaws in a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. The Chickasaws come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Blytheville lost 23-11 in their recent non-league battle against Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR)
