The Gautier Gators softball team scored 27 runs and held the host Laurel Golden Tornadoes to 4 in the Gators league win on Friday.

The Gators now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vancleave for a 5A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, March 18. Gautier will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Laurel moves to 2-6 on the season. The Golden tornadoes travel to Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, March 24. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 0-5.
