In Friday's league test, the Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), by a tally of 19-0.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 17. Harnett Central will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Bengals go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 13-3 league loss to Cleveland (Clayton, NC).

The Wolverines (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles go into the All American 3A/4A test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Western Harnett prevailed over Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC), 10-3, in a league test.
