The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX), observed Wakeland's softball team prevail over Highland Park by a tally of 13-1.

The Wolverines (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region II District 12 bout with a 13-9 record. In their last bout, Creekview knocked off Turner (Carrollton, TX), 14-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Scots clash with the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Highland Park will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 14-0 league win over Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX).
