North Carolina High School Softball - Southern Lee succumbs to Hoke County

March 14, 2025: Raeford, NC 28376

In Friday's league test, the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC), by a tally of 10-0.

Next, the Bucks meet the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A test, on Tuesday, March 18. Hoke County will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 3-5 record after their 19-2 league win over Richmond (Rockingham, NC).

The Cavaliers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Jordan (Durham, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Jordan was routed by North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC), 11-8, in a non-league test.
