Texas High School Softball - Sam Houston bounces Lamar

March 14, 2025: Arlington, TX 76012

In Friday's league match, the visiting Sam Houston Texans softball team scored a nice 18-8 win over the Lamar Vikings.

The Texans (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Gophers come into the 6A Region I District 8 match with a 7-12 record. In their last match, Grand Prairie was routed by South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 14-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 match, on Monday, March 17. Lamar will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record.
