The Summerfield Rebels softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Lincoln Prep Panthers to 0 in the Rebels non-league win on Friday.

The Rebels now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Choudrant for a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. Summerfield will confront a Aggies team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Oakdale (Oakdale, LA). The Aggies record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Lincoln Prep moves to 0-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA) to confront the Cougars in a 1A District 2 battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 5-4.
