Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host McGehee Owls (McGehee, AR), 10-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Smackover upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Buckaroos host Prescott (Prescott, AR) to play the Curley Wolves in a 3A Region 7 game on Monday, March 17. The Curley Wolves enter the game with a record of 1-4.

The Owls now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host DeWitt for a 3A Region 8 game on Tuesday, March 18. McGehee will play a Dragons squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Star City (Star City, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 6-0.
