California High School Softball - Palm Desert sneaks past Rancho Mirage

March 14, 2025: Rancho Mirage, CA 92270

The Palm Desert Aztecs softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Rancho Mirage Rattlers to 10 in the Aztecs league win on Friday.

The Aztecs now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shadow Hills for a Desert Empire battle on Tuesday, March 18. Palm Desert will confront a Knights team coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Rancho Mirage moves to 6-3 on the season. The Rattlers host La Quinta (La Quinta, CA) to confront the Blackhawks in a Desert Empire battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Blackhawks come into the battle with a record of 10-2.
