Nevada High School Softball - West Wendover succumbs to Pershing County

March 14, 2025: West Wendover, NV 89883

In Friday's league test, the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) softball squad overwhelmed the host West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV), by a tally of 28-7.

Next, the Mustangs meet the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) in a 2A- Northern test, on Friday, March 14. Pershing County will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Wolverines go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV).

The Wolverines (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Mustangs go into the 2A- Northern test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Pershing County prevailed over North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA), 7-0, in a league test.
