In Friday's league test, the Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA), by a count of 16-1.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 19. Varnado will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Commodores go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 0-0 non-league St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA).
The Rams (1-3) will now prepare for their test against East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, East Iberville was routed by St. John (Plaquemine, LA), 16-0, in a league test.
