Alabama High School Baseball - West Point nipped by Brewer

The Brewer Patriots got by the visiting West Point Warriors baseball team by a count of 5-4 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Guntersville for a 5A Area 15 test on Tuesday, March 17. Brewer will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Boaz (Boaz, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-8.

With the defeat, West Point falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lawrence County (Moulton, AL) to encounter the Red Devils in a 5A Area 14 bout on Tuesday, March 17. The Red Devils enter the bout with a record of 1-10. Lawrence County lost 12-0 in their recent non-league bout against St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL)
