Texas High School Baseball - Westfield loses to Spring

Spring Lions (Spring, TX) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Westfield Mustangs (Houston, TX), 7-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Spring moves its record to 8-9 on the season. The Lions host Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX) to battle the Falcons in a 6A Region II District 14 match on Tuesday, March 17. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 5-10. Benjamin Davis won 8-0 in their recent league match against Eisenhower (Houston, TX)

The Mustangs now hold a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Dekaney for a 6A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, March 17. Westfield will play a Wildcats team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Aldine (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-9.
