In Saturday's non-league test, the Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA), by a tally of 6-0.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Jena Giants (Jena, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 14. Central will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Giants go into the test with a 12-0 record after their 15-0 league win over Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA).

The Tigers (3-9) will now prepare for their outing against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights come into the non-league outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, South Beauregard was routed by Stanley (Logansport, LA), 5-1, in a non-league outing.
