In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Grandview Zebras softball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the Richardson Eagles.

The Zebras (15-2) will now prepare for their match against Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region III District 18 game with a 14-6 record. In their last game, Scurry-Rosser was routed by Edgewood (Edgewood, TX), 17-8, in a non-league game.

The Eagles now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Irving for a 6A Region I District 7 game on Monday, March 16. Richardson will play a Tigers squad coming off a 16-11 league loss to Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-17.
