South Carolina High School Softball - Nation Ford sneaks past Hillcrest

March 14, 2026: Fort Mill, SC 29715

The Nation Ford Falcons (Fort Mill, SC) softball nipped the visiting Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), 7-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Falcons now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indian Land for a AAAAA Region 3 test on Tuesday, March 17. Nation Ford will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Clover (Clover, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 9-2.

The Rams (5-6) will now prepare for their test against J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC). The Patriots go into the AAAAA Region 1 test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, J.L. Mann was nudged by Woodmont (Piedmont, SC), 15-0, in a league test.
