Texas High School Softball - Idalou bested by Slaton

The Slaton Tigers triumphed over the host Idalou Wildcats softball squad by a count of 20-2 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 challenge, on Monday, March 16. Slaton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Mules enter the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 19-18 league loss to Littlefield (Littlefield, TX).

The Wildcats (2-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX). The Bobcats enter the 3A Region I District 2 challenge with a 1-14 record. In their last battle, Dimmitt was routed by Shallowater (Shallowater, TX), 16-0, in a league battle.
