In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Bowie Pirates baseball team scored a nice 23-3 victory over the Avery Bulldogs.
The Pirates (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Detroit (Detroit, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region III District 17 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Detroit was overwhelmed by McLeod (McLeod, TX), 23-0, in a league game.
The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX). The Tigers go into the 2A Region III District 17 game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Linden-Kildare was overwhelmed by Maud (Maud, TX), 4-1, in a league game.
