The St. Paul Swordsmen baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Cathedral Phantoms to 8 in the Swordsmen league victory on Tuesday.
The Swordsmen (6-8) will now prepare for their match against La Salle (Pasadena, CA). The Lancers go into the Del Rey match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, La Salle was edged by Serra (Gardena, CA), 12-6, in a league match.
The Phantoms (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Lancers go into the Del Rey match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Bishop Amat edged St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 4-2, in a league match.
