The Lyford Bulldogs baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host King Brahmas to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Rio Hondo was overwhelmed by Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX), 5-0, in a non-league match.
The Brahmas (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Alice (Alice, TX). The Coyotes go into the 4A Region IV District 31 match with a 8-8 record.
