Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) and the visiting Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX), saw Salado's baseball squad beat Lake Belton by a margin of 4-0.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 battle, on Friday, March 18. Salado will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 14-3 non-league loss to Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX).
