The Lancaster Red Devils crushed the visiting West Point Pointers baseball team by a count of 17-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Red Devils now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Middlesex for a non-league bout on Friday, March 18. Lancaster will face a Chargers team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Pointers face the Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 17. West Point will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Middlesex (Saluda, VA).
