The West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC), 13-3 in Tuesday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Blackhawks encounter the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 17. West Wilkes will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC).

The Eagles now sport a 0-6 record. They play next when they host West Wilkes for a Foothills 2A contest on Friday, March 18. Wilkes Central will encounter a Blackhawks squad coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Blackhawks record now stands at 4-4.
