The Monterey Trail Mustangs held off the visiting Grant Pacers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laguna Creek for a test on Wednesday, March 23. Monterey Trail will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Franklin (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-2.

The Pacers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (Sacramento, CA). The Cougars enter the test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Kennedy was nudged by West Campus (Sacramento, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
