California High School Volleyball - Santa Maria over Orcutt Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Santa Maria Saints (Santa Maria, CA) and the visiting Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA), saw Santa Maria's volleyball squad beat Orcutt Academy by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Santa Maria upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Saints host St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA) to play the Knights in a Ocean bout on Thursday, March 17. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-1. St. Joseph won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Nipomo (Nipomo, CA)

The Spartans now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Mission Prep for a Mountain bout on Thursday, March 17. Orcutt Academy will play a Royals squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Templeton (Templeton, CA). The Royals record now stands at 2-2.
