North Carolina High School Soccer - Smithfield-Selma knocks off South Johnston

Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) in a Quad County 3A challenge, on Friday, March 18. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 9-0 league win over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC).
The Trojans now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fike for a Quad County 3A challenge on Friday, March 18. South Johnston will confront a Demons team coming off a 10-1 league win over West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Demons record now stands at 3-2.
