The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Monticello Mustangs to 1 in the Green Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Green Hornets (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 5-0 record.
The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Eastern View (Culpeper, VA). The Cyclones go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Eastern View was overwhelmed by Fauquier (Warrenton, VA), 4-2, in a non-league match.
