Centennial Knights (Roswell, GA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Cambridge Bears (Milton, GA), 2-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights confront the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, March 18. Centennial will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Riverwood (Atlanta, GA).
The Bears now possess a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Creekview for a AAAAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, March 18. Cambridge will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-5.
