Charleston Math & Science Riptide (Charleston, SC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Cross Trojans (Cross, SC), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Riptide face the Baptist Hill Bobcats (Hollywood, SC) in a A Region 7 challenge, on Thursday, March 17. Charleston Math & Science will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 6-3 league loss to Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC).

The Trojans now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palmetto Scholars Academy for a A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, March 17. Cross will face a Phoenix team coming off a 13-0 league win over Whale Branch (Beaufort, SC). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-4.
