In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Grovetown Warriors soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Evans Knights.
The Warriors (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Patriots go into the AAAAAA Region 3 outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Heritage held off Alcovy (Covington, GA), 6-0, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 3 outing, on Friday, March 18. Evans will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 0-9 record after their 6-0 league loss to Heritage (Conyers, GA).
