Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Woodlawn Colonels (Birmingham, AL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rockets confront the Minor Tigers (Adamsville, AL) in a 6A Area 10 challenge, on Tuesday, March 22. Gardendale will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record.
The Colonels now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shades Valley for a 6A Area 11 challenge on Thursday, March 17. Woodlawn will confront a Mounties team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL). The Mounties record now stands at 2-7.
