Texas High School Softball - Onalaska bounces Anderson-Shiro

Onalaska Wildcats (Onalaska, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX), 19-5 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host Hardin for a 3A Region III District 23 challenge on Friday, March 18. Onalaska will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 17-16 league loss to Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Anderson-Shiro falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Fighting owls travel to Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX) to battle the Trojans in a 3A Region III District 23 challenge on Friday, March 25. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 8-9.
