In Tuesday's league contest, the Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX), by a margin of 16-1.
With the triumph, Atlanta moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Rabbits host Hooks (Hooks, TX) to play the Hornets in a 3A Region II District 14 contest on Friday, March 18. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 13-0. Hooks won 6-0 in their recent league contest against De Kalb (De Kalb, TX)
In their next game, the Brahmas play the New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 contest, on Friday, March 18. Pewitt will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 0-9 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Como-Pickton (Como, TX).
