The Colorado Wolves softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Big Spring Steers to 0 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Colorado improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Wolves host Borden County (Gail, TX) to clash with the Coyotes in a non-league game on Friday, March 18. The Coyotes come into the game with a record of 0-2. Borden County lost 11-3 in their recent non-league game against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX)

In their next game, the Steers clash with the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 game, on Tuesday, March 22. Big Spring will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Matadors come into the game with a 7-16 record after their 26-16 non-league loss to Pecos (Pecos, TX).
