Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to McQueen for a 5A North challenge on Saturday, April 2. Spanish Springs will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Lancers record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Carson falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Senators host Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV) to battle the Miners in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Miners enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Bishop Manogue lost 14-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Reno (Reno, NV)
