Texas High School Softball - Dripping Springs bounces Veterans Memorial

Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lehman for a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Thursday, March 17. Dripping Springs will face a Lobo squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Lobo record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Veterans Memorial falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Patriots host Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to face the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, March 18. The Mules enter the challenge with a record of 2-16. Alamo Heights lost 16-3 in their recent league challenge against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX)
