Texas High School Softball - Frisco bounces Independence

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) and the host Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), witnessed Frisco's softball squad tip Independence by a count of 14-7.

The Raccoons now sport a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Lebanon Trail for a 5A Region II District 9 match on Friday, March 18. Frisco will face a Trail Blazers squad coming off a 18-1 league loss to Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Independence moves to 1-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Memorial (Frisco, TX) to face the Warriors in a 5A Region II District 9 match on Friday, March 18. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 14-4. Memorial won 9-0 in their recent league match against Centennial (Frisco, TX)
