Texas High School Softball - San Benito bounces Harlingen

The San Benito Greyhounds routed the visiting Harlingen Cardinals softball squad by a final score of 8-2 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Greyhounds (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Donna North (Donna, TX). The Chiefs go into the 6A Region IV District 32 battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Donna North was routed by Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Cardinals now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Los Fresnos for a 6A Region IV District 32 battle on Thursday, March 17. Harlingen will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Weslaco (Weslaco, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 13-1.
