The North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) softball routed the host Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 19-5 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Rebels (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 4-0 record.

The Wildcats now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Heide Trask for a non-league bout on Friday, March 18.
