In Tuesday's league contest, the Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL) softball team overwhelmed the host Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL), by a margin of 19-0.
With the triumph, Lexington moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Golden Bears host Central (Florence, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 17. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-5. Central won 6-4 in their recent non-league contest against Colbert County (Leighton, AL)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Vina Red Devils (Vina, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 18. Sheffield will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
