The St. Stephens Indians softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host North Iredell Raiders to 0 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, St. Stephens improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Indians host Hickory (Hickory, NC) to clash with the Red Tornadoes in a Western Foothills 3A game on Friday, March 18. The Red Tornadoes come into the game with a record of 1-5. Hickory lost 12-2 in their recent league game against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 17. North Iredell will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 0-5 record after their 10-0 league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).
