Texas High School Softball - Odem bounces Orange Grove

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Odem Owls (Odem, TX) and the host Orange Grove Bulldogs (Orange Grove, TX), witnessed Odem's softball squad overcome Orange Grove by a final score of 10-0.

The Owls (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Taft (Taft, TX). The Greyhounds go into the 3A Region IV District 29 battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Taft notched a victory over Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX), 11-1, in a league battle.

The Bulldogs now possess a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Goliad for a 3A Region IV District 29 battle on Friday, March 18. Orange Grove will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 8-8.
