The Stone Tomcats softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Pearl River Central Blue Devils to 5 in the Tomcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Stone moves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Tomcats host Gautier (Gautier, MS) to clash with the Gators in a non-league game on Friday, March 18. The Gators come into the game with a record of 1-4. Gautier lost 10-0 in their recent league game against East Central (Moss Point, MS)

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 19. Pearl River Central will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 7-5 record after their 8-7 league loss to Vancleave (Vancleave, MS).
