Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Kares now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence for a Prep challenge on Friday, March 18. Rio Hondo Prep will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Westridge (Pasadena, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Polytechnic falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to San Marino (San Marino, CA) to battle the Titans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 16. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. San Marino won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Monrovia (Monrovia, CA)
