St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 13-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Horsemen now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Moriarty for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 17. St. Michael's will battle a Pintos squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Taos falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
