In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Albemarle Patriots baseball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Stafford Indians.
The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Fredericksburg Christian was overwhelmed by Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA), 12-5, in a league game.
